Okay. This is a tough sell. In most advocacy or not-for-profit cases, you're asking for a tangible response from your audience to "buy" an intangible "product." You're trying to persuade people to agree with your point-of-view or your cause and actually DO something.
How do I get people to the polls and how do I convince them to vote for a tax increase? How do I persuade people to do something they don't necessarily feel like doing? How do I motivate audiences to grab their checkbooks when times are tough?
Advocacy (or cause) advertising is some of the most challenging work an agency can take on and some of the most rewarding. We have a long history of promoting schools, parks, museums, the arts, senior citizens … and the legislation that supports them. |
